About Plate2Plate

The Plate2Plate Culinary Exchange is an inaugural program launched by Crescendo Foods in Ghana to connect Black chefs and food professionals from Africa and the African diaspora with Africa's culinary landscape and heritage. Starting in Ghana, the exchange program offers participants a residency to immerse themselves in Ghanaian food culture, learn about local food systems, and strengthen diasporic connections through food.

Through cultural workshops and curated activities, including farm and industry visits, factory tours, historical site explorations, collaborations with local chefs and entrepreneurs, and community engagements; Participants gain deep insight into the vital role African food systems play in shaping global culinary innovation through traditional sustainable practices.
